Twitter Assets

 

Establishing a consistent visual environment across multiple twitter accounts will require similar profile pictures, cover photos, etc. To download all twitter asset templates, click the "Download All Files" button below.

Cover Photo

Twitter allows a large photo, called a "cover photo," and a smaller photo, called a "profile picture." The cover photo should be emotive and inviting in nature as well as representative of your work. A strong focal point and complementary soft background typically do this, as well as create greater visual interest.

The photograph is chosen by individual account holders, and should be 851px X 315px.

 

Cover Photo Guidelines

Do not use artwork

As a general rule, avoid using actual artwork in this space, unless it was specifically designed to live in this particular format.

Do not use low-quality images

Please avoid low-quality images. As you can see here, these images do not look as crisp.

Please use images no smaller than 1500px X 500px.

 

Profile Photo Option 01

Profile photo option one allows for the Cross and Flame to be prominent.

Variation A

Simply the Cross and Flame on white.

Variation A is intended for use by The United Methodist Churches' official social media channels. All the other variations are intended to show connection between other United Methodists who communicate via social media.

A smaller Cross and Flame on white, and space for your individual entity name written in white (on black background).

Variation B and Variation C are the preferred options for all other United Methodist Church entities.

These options allow your organization to connect to the official channel while simultaneously expressing your own identity.
