2016 General Conference Guide
The 2016 General Conference Guide, which debuted at the pre-General Conference news briefing in Portland, Oregon, is full of helpful information about this quadrennial event. Along with an overview, special events details and schedules, the 50-page guide also explains the legislative process, highlights major issues and offers basics about United Methodism. Compiled by the Rev. Joan Gray La Barr of Dallas and edited by United Methodist Communications staff, the resource is available as a PDF that you may open and print or save to your computer at this link.
Because of the small print run, printed copies are no longer available. A limited number of printed copies of the guide will be available to the press during General Conference.
