Web Ministry 103: Maintain and Evaluate



 

Web Ministry 103 will help you use your church website to build a dynamic web ministry and web presence. In the process, you will build a network of relationships with other course participants. This can foster ongoing support, feedback, encouragement, and resource sharing. N this course, we also examine other aspects of web ministry—beyond a website. Learn how to enhance and expand your church’s online ministry.

  • Students can expect to log about 20 total hours in the course. Students access the course anytime they want, 24/7.
  • Cost: $119*
  • Start Dates:July 5 - August 15, 2012 Register.
  • A certificat of completion and 2 SACEM CEUs are awarded to those meeting the requirements.

Who should participate?

This course is just right for anyone wanting to develop a web presence to support the ministry of a church, district, conference, or other organization. A prerequisite for this course is Web Ministry 102 or equivalent preparation.

What will I learn?

At the end of Web Ministry 103, you will be able to:

  • Develop a schedule for regular and routine content and design maintenance of your website.
  • Identify and use dynamic website content from UMC.org.
  • Investigate and utilize other web -based tools and resources for an enhanced and expanded web ministry in your church.

You will also be ready to:

  • Establish a plan for marketing your website.
  • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of the effectiveness of your website in relation to your overall web ministry goals.
  • Identify ways to gain support and further training as you expand your web ministry.
