Change the World Weekend

Schedule a local activity

  • Consider how your congregation currently impacts its community. Do you have a food pantry, a clothing closet, an ESL program, a tutoring program, etc.?
  • Schedule an activity for either an existing or new outreach ministry on either April 24 or 25, 2010.

help fight malaria

  • Conduct an activity that will help raise awareness and funds that will change lives in Africa.
  • Focus Sunday, April 25th services on fighting malaria, honoring Christ's call to heal the sick and help those in need.

spread the word

  • Use our Resources on the right-hand column to spread the world about your Change the World local activity or effort to fight malaria. Invite both your congregation and the community to get involved.
  • The Google Earth Map illustrates United Methodists in service around the world on April 24-25, 2010. Add your event to the Google Earth Map on the Change the World homepage.
