Welcoming Ministry Training Events

Welcoming Banner (no text)

Every United Methodist congregation needs to create a Welcoming Ministry that undergirds the church's mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. A Welcoming Ministry supports all the ministry efforts of the local congregation; prepares each member to receive visitors, guests and newcomers; and equps the church to move beyond the walls of its buildings to connect in meaningful ways within its community. Through live training events, workshops and online learning courses, members and congregations can develop a Welcoming Ministry that offers radical hospitality 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Welcoming is a lifestyle, and learning how to welcome everyone all the time is what Welcoming Ministry is all about.
