Audio is one of the many media providing resources and products for the church. Here, you find audio expressions of the church’s ministry, news, stories of faith in action, music, history, and links to additional resources for your use. Each issue is viewed from many directions, utilizing a variety of experts to help us deal with the challenges. We review music of all genres, but titles are chosen based on their message. We review music that challenges its listeners to ponder significant issues facing us as Christians. ProfilesThe people of the United Methodist Church are always at the forefront of the church’s ministry. Each month, we highlight the remarkable work of a United Methodist who finds both direction and strength in his or her faith. Listen to these stories told by persons who lives and personal ministries are blessed and empowered. Historical AudioRadio programs created by the church, interviews, sermons, lectures, African-American experience in the church… many hundreds of programs are available for study, general interest, and entertainment. These are collected from Archives & History, United Methodist seminaries, UMCom, and other sources. CHURCH MUSIC VENUEMusicians in our churches produce the sounds of praise and gospel, modern and ancient, with voice, stings, bells, and pipes. Our musicians are invited to showcase their work here so others can experience their music, and contact them for CDs and live presentations.
