Sue Sherbrooke is Chief Executive Officer for the YWCA Seattle-King County-Snohomish County, one of that community’s leading nonprofits, providing housing and other essential human services for 40,000+ very low income women, men and children in two counties with an annual operating budget of $28 million. Prior to taking this position in 2004, Sue served as Deputy Director and Director of Finance & Property. Before joining the YWCA in 1984, Sue worked in commercial banking and as Deputy Director for the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities – Consumer Division.

Sue is an active member of Wallingford United Methodist Church and has served as a member of three general church agencies: General Board of Church & Society; General Council on Finance & Administration and United Methodist Communications. She currently chairs the board of the Foundation for United Methodist Communications.

Sue has Bachelor of Arts (Communications & History) and Master of Public Administration degrees from the University of Washington.
