 Every local church needs at least one fully functioning and up-to-date computer with appropriate versions of an operating system and software packages. United Methodist Communications can help with this through its TechShop where every local church can purchase computer hardware and software at a reduced rate over retail. We have partnerships with Dell, Apple, Adobe, Microsoft and many other popular vendors that enable us to offer a deeper discount to churches than you might be able to get otherwise. The hardware and software is fully licensed to you with warranties and support provided directly from the vendor. Our role at UMCom is to pass along the savings. If your church needs computer hardware or software, we encourage you to compare the savings through TechShop with retail chains before you buy. In most cases, you will be able to save more and still receive the same great products and services. |
