Connectional Giving 101

“Turning Connectional Living into Connectional Giving” (CG101) is a free, basic online course that explores how to turn our connectional living as United Methodists into connectional giving that supports the shared ministry and mission of The United Methodist Church. It is a four-part journey through why we give, the connectional nature of the church, the Apportioned and Designated funds of the church, and how you can make a difference in the world. Participants work through the course at their own pace and have the opportunity to interact through discussion forums, quizzes, and feedback activities.

The course begins the first Wednesday of alternating months from January through November, and each session is open to pre-registered participants for six weeks. The 2010 schedule includes:

Pre-registration is required to participate in this course, and no participants will be admitted once the course begins. To pre-register, select the "Pre-register for this session" link under the course dates for which you wish to enroll. Pre-registration ends the day the course session begins.
