Central Conference Communications

The United Methodist Church has launched radio in Côte d’Ivoire. Amplify Hope by giving some of the earth’s poorest and most isolated people the ability to communicate and to become better educated. Put power back into their lives. Visit Amplifyhope.org

There is hope. There is light. And when the light shines, the darkness scatters.

Communication is a kind of light. It reveals what was hidden. It puts on full display what has been here all along: The hope of God. The human spirit. The power of common people to make a difference in their own lives and in the lives of others.

That's why the Central Conference Communications Initiative (CCCI), authorized by General Conference 2004 and led by United Methodist Communications, has had such an impact. By building communications infrastructure and training people to use it, CCCI has given the people of the central conferences the power to shine a light of their own.
