Impact Kentucky
Where: Louisville, Kentucky
When: August 25, 2012
Join fellow Kentuckians on Saturday, August 25th to bring hope to Impact Kentucky! Focusing on storm recovery, we will have projects in multiple areas for you to be able to volunteer and make a difference in the lives of those affected by the storms. Choose from projects like construction and repairs to food boxes and clothing giveaways - there's something for everyone!


Celebrate Segundo Barrio 2011
Where: El Paso, Texas
When: March 12, 2011
The Lydia Patterson Institute, in partnership with 6 local UM Churches, several Campus Ministries and the State of Texas, held a day of cultural celebration and service in what is known as the poorest urban zip code in America. Historical tours, food box distributions and a free health fair, along with a 5K Walk/Run, served over 2000 people in the community.

Hope Epidemic 2011
Where: Sikeston, Missouri
When: April 30, 2011
One thousand volunteers brought hope to their community during a flood crisis. Projects included sandbagging, moving people out of their homes, delivering needed supplies and giving away 500 flood buckets. The day was concluded with a Hopefest Celebration inviting a hurting community out for free food, health screenings and haircuts!
