Andrea is a Senior Field Manager at Dimagi, a leading social enterprise in mobile technology. Andrea has designed and deployed numerous mobile health projects across sub-Saharan Africa, ranging from small-scale pilots to Ministry of Health-backed implementations. Her primary focus is building mobile applications and SMS systems that strengthen health systems in low-resource settings, including for HIV/AIDS, orphans and vulnerable children, maternal and child health, malnutrition, and cardiovascular disease. In addition to her fieldwork, Andrea manages Dimagi outreach activities in identifying new partnerships and projects, leading technology workshops and trainings, and incorporating end-user feedback into product design. Prior to Dimagi, Andrea conducted research at a number of health organizations, including the Emory Preparedness and Emergency Response Center, the Children’s Hospital of Atlanta, the Emory Center for Interfaith Health, and the Emory Global Health Institute. She has an MPH in Global Health from Emory University Rollins School of Public Health and a BA in Bioethics from Washington & Jefferson College.
