Sixty years ago, during World War II, young Navajo men served on the front lines of our country’s fiercest battles. Navajo codetalkers took part in every assault the U.S. Marines conducted in the Pacific from 1942 to 1945, among them, Wilfred Billey, a United Methodist, who says his faith guided him through his darkest hours.
