The mission of United Methodist Communications (UMCom) is to tell the stories of the church and its people. 

We do this by

• sharing the message of God’s love for the world as revealed through Jesus Christ;

• communicating the beliefs of The United Methodist Church and encouraging denominational giving to ministry;
• listening to needs inside and outside the church and telling stories of faith, especially from those whose voices are not always heard in the mainstream media; and
• creating and marketing communications resources that strengthen the church and the broader community of faith.

Based in Nashville, TN, UMCom is a global ministry of The United Methodist Church that reaches out to nearly 7,000 churches in Eastern and Central Europe, Africa and Asia, and more than 35,000 congregations across the United States. The ministry employs 110 communications professionals and support staff who identify and respond to the diverse communications needs of more than 10 million United Methodists worldwide.
