A Western Pennsylvania native, the Rev. Gregory D. Cox has served as an ordained pastor in the connection for 10 years. He served a small rural charge (Bethel and White Oak) in Titusville, Pa., from 1998-2002; and was associate pastor of Baldwin Community United Methodist Church in suburban Pittsburgh from 2002-06 and leadpastor of College Hill United Methodist Church, Beaver Falls from 2006-2010. Currently, Greg serves as the Director of Connectional Ministries in the annual conference and is passionate about leadership, development and stewardship.
Cox graduated from North Allegheny High School, Wexford, Pa. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Allegheny College, Meadville, in 1993; and a Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School 1998. He enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family and playing sports, and recently completed his first triathlon.
He is married to Tracy and they have three girls—Sarah, Rebekah and Elisabeth.
