Mr. Anthony Phillips
Anthony Phillips is currently a student at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology. He is planning a career in ministry focused on Family, Marriage and Faith. His 20 year professional career has been in marketing, most recently as a Global Brand Manager with The Coca-Cola Company.
Prior to his position with The Coca-Cola Company, Anthony was an entrepreneur. He ran the Strategic Planning division of Persaud Brothers, a boutique agency specializing in the youth market. Clients included Coca-Cola, Honda, Nike's Brand Jordan, Home Box Office and Kyocera Wireless.
Mr. Phillips began his advertising career as a Brand Strategist at Ogilvy in New York City working on award winning campaigns for American Express and Swatch. He worked for Merkely Newman Harty on the award winning BellSouth campaign and later worked on the famous Obey Your Thirst Sprite campaign at Burrell Communications Group.
Mr. Phillips graduated from Emory’s Goizueta Business School with a concentration in Global Studies, Marketing and Leadership. He also graduated with a BA from the University of Pennsylvania where he studied Economics and Marketing in the Wharton School of Business.
Anthony mentors youth through coaching in his non-profit youth program, and is the father to 4 boys: Braelen, Eric, Andrew and Anthony Jr.
