Alice Rogers is an ordained elder in the North Georgia Conference. She served urban, county seat, rural and suburban churches for 17 years before coming to Candler School of Theology and is currently am the Director of the Contextual Education and Teaching Parish Programs as well as Associate Professor in the Practice of Practical Theology. Alice served 12 years on the Board of Ordained Ministry and chaired the Ministerial Education Fund for 8 years. She currently chairs the District Committee on District Superintendency and serves as a member of the Conference Commission on Higher Education and Ministry. She is also Vice-President of the Association of Field Educators for North America. Alice is deeply committed to the formation of leaders for congregational ministry.
