UMC Giving, a department of United Methodist Communications, supports Special Sundays and stewardship at all levels, Rethink Church, a marketing campaign of The United Methodist Church, supports outreach and marketing for local churches with personalized resources, videos, articles and grants for new church starts and advertising. The MyCom e-Newsletter offers a wide-range of articles on marketing, communications, leadership, stewardship, outreach, young adults, and more.
The official news service of the church, United Methodist News Service (UMNS), the official UM Program Calendar, the denominational website, UMC.org, and the popular magazine, Interpreter, highlighting United Methodists in action in the world, are all produced at United Methodist Communications.
United Methodist Communications’ training services offers courses in church marketing, technology and United Methodist beliefs, while our technology department offers services such as webhosting and support for local churches with websites and digital communications, and technology solutions for global ministries.
United Methodist Communications has a consultative relationship for communication and public relations with all general agencies of the global Church and with any structure at the jurisdictional, Episcopal area, annual conference, district or local church level. The agency supports a number of websites for United Methodist organizations such as the Council of Bishops, and language portals such as French, Korean and Spanish.
